the ups and downs...

so.... the ups and downs of being sick...
i hate being sick... (and not having food around... :S however, fear not my friends, today is payday, and shopping adventures are upon us... and by us, i mean me..)
the upside is that i have meds... prescription drugs... i love that... i have to take two pills twice a day... on an empty stomach... they're orange... and cool...
they work...sorta, i guess... last night woke up in pain.... but thought happy thoughts and was asleep in no time...
as i mentioned ealier, i'm on penicillin... which always makes me think of that line from vi warshawski (1992): wow, you have enough penicillin here to cure the clap...
tee hee.. so for me, penicillin=std...but rest assured, it's only strep...
that for now, is very managable...
sada stopped by yesterday and brought me popsicles (w/ REAL strawberries) they're delish...spank you sada...
today i have orientation for this temp gig... for dec. (money money money! must be funny, in a rich man's world...) and then i'm going to have a fabulous dinner... and resume alias (half way done w/ season 4, should be done today w/ it)
sat. the counterpart is stopping by! whoohoo! and sunday, hoping to chill w/ monica/julie...(haven't done that in a while....)
and now i run to put on some clothes...
