an original DEDLY...

so, for months now, i've been complaining about the lack of space in my tiny little world...(that extends both physically and mentally) and now i desperately need some kind of unit and storage space for all my lovely DVDs...
and for weeks (ok, not really, but for a while now) julie's been teasing me about my festivus present... so i finally figured out that it was shelves, for my dvds :D
thursday night, after working a double and watching sweeny todd, we stopped by miranda's and picked up my shelves... not only were they fantabulous, she and her father, MADE THEM FOR ME! wow! a custom made shelving unit specifically for my dvds, for a particular place in my room!
if i had a heart or a soul, i would cry... so we loaded the unit and headed to my place, and thus began the rearranging of my room...it fits around 300 dvds, which is amazing, all my dvds are in one place, all alphabetized, and in order, in their little place... all my tv shows are there too... i have little room left, but for now, i plan to cool it w/ the dvd madness... (speaking of which, new additions: starship troopers, the golden child, the indiana jones box set, crouching tiger hidden dragon, oldboy, natural born killers and season 1 of dexter)
i've moved shit around and now most of my books have homes too, and the crucial vhs... needless to say, i'm a happy camper :D julie's amazing... (YOU'RE AMAZING! AND SO IS PAPA DAVE!)
i'm off this wknd, after a LONG week of working 8 shifts.. in 5 days... i'm relaxing and watching my movies.. hoping to get to dexter by tomorrow...(finishing up indiana and hopefully crouching/oldboy)...
and working a lot this up coming week too... sigh...
